Evin Janik, Ma

I am currently a Psychology Associate at the St Petersburg Holistic Psychology Clinic supervised by Dr. Kimberly Carnall, receiving my Doctorate Degree (PsyD) in a Clinical Psychology from the Florida School of Professional Psychology at National Louis University. I am enthusiastic about working with individuals across their entire lifespan.
My integrative therapeutic approach pulls from feminist, person-centered, and existential theories emphasizing collaboration and understanding. My experience includes working with children and adolescents, as well as specialized training for group body-image work. My areas of interest include, but are not limited to, treating eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trauma, interpersonal and relationship difficulties, assisting with life changes, and working through daily life stressors. I am passionate about fostering a supportive, respectful, and empowering therapeutic environment. I am committed to understanding the perspective of every client and honoring the differences that each person carries with them and brings into therapy.
